Hotel Information
The 2008 ASC will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The Hyatt Regency is centrally located in downtown Chicago at 151 East Wacker Drive. The hotels superb location gives you the opportunity to explore what this great city has to offer. You will only be a short walk from the highlights like the vibrant Navy Pier, innovative Millennium Park, and the 'Magnificent Mile' shopping district of Michigan Avenue. Chicago's rapid transit system, known as the 'L', is conveniently located nearby the Hyatt Regency to take you to Wrigley Field or the Sears Tower.
Lodging Fee
$165 per night plus 15.4% tax for single or double occupancy.
The U.S. Federal Government Per Diem rate is $168 per night, therefore, government rate rooms will not be set aside for 2008.
- Please make lodging arrangements early as space is limited. The cut-off date to make a reservation is Monday, July 14, 2008.
- All deposits and inquiries should be sent to the Hyatt Regency Chicago and NOT to ASC 2008 or Centennial Conferences.
- Rates do not include applicable state or local taxes or surcharges. The current tax rate is 15.4% but is subject to change.
- Payment of one night’s room and tax must be provided upon making reservations.
- Neither ASC 2008 nor Centennial Conferences are responsible for your lodging arrangements, however, we will be happy to assist you should you experience any problems or have questions.

Other Lodging Information
- Check-in time is after 3:00 pm and check-out time is prior to 12:00 noon.
- A deposit of the first night’s room and tax is due fourteen (14) days after the reservation is confirmed by the hotel. Deposits are fully refundable if a reservation is canceled three (3) days or more prior to the arrival date. Personal checks, money orders or a valid American Express, Diners Club, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
- Cancellations will be accepted up to three (3) days or more prior to the arrival date. Within three (3) days of arrival, deposit of one night’s room and tax will be forfeited.
- Departure date changes resulting in a shortened stay at the hotel made after check-in to the hotel are subject to a charge of one Hyatt Regency Chicago prior to your arrival.
Sharing Rooms
Roommates and guests are the responsibility of each individual. If one person cancels, the other(s) will be charged the full rate.
