Poster Presentation Instructions

All poster sessions will take place at the Oregon Convention Center.

The location and poster board number for your presentation(s) will be provided in future correspondence.

Each horizontal poster board measures 4 ft (height) x 8 ft (width) (115 cm x 240 cm).

Include your assigned program id number in your poster presentation.

Poster presenters are expected to arrange their material before the session starts, and to be available to answer questions and discuss their papers with attendees.  You may want to bring pre-prints for handout. There are no parallel oral sessions during the poster sessions.

If a scheduled presentation is not presented during its scheduled time, the paper written from this presentation will not be considered for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity from the ASC 2012. For posters, the word presented means that an author must be present at the poster during the entire session. Attendance will be taken.  If an author is not available to answer questions and discuss the poster during the session, the paper written from this poster will not be published as part of the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity from the ASC 2012.

If you have more than one poster and they are not side by side, then you need to spread your time over all poster presentations and enlist your co-authors to be present at other posters. Please add a note on the poster board as to what time you will be present and also inform the session chair(s).

NOTE: It is NOT acceptable to merely post a copy of your paper. Such papers will be marked as "no-show".

Please note that ASC 2012 accepts no responsibility for material that may be left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged.

If you need to make changes or withdraw your abstract from the program BEFORE the Conference, please submit your request via email to the ASC 2012 Conference Administrator. Please be sure to include your assigned abstract control number as well as your program id number (e.g. 1EPN-07, 1MPP-01, 3LPQ-01, etc.) on any correspondence.

If you need to make changes or withdraw your presentation from the program ON-SITE at the Conference, please advise the staff in the Publications Office.
