Page Limits, Additional Papers and Pages

Authors presenting papers at ASC 2012 are not required to submit a manuscript.  Only papers presented at the ASC 2012 will be considered for publication of the special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity.

Only the Full Conference Participant and Student Participant registration fees include one (1) complimentary manuscript submission. All other registration fees do not include a complimentary manuscript submission and an “additional paper fee" of US $440 must be paid in order to receive a unique registration code for submission.

A unique registration code (received after successfully registering for the conference or making the additional paper fee payment) is required for any manuscript submission. This conference participant’s registration code used for submission must be a co-author on the submitted manuscript.

Authors may submit more than one manuscript, however, for any additional papers, authors must pay the additional paper fee of US $440.  A unique registration code will be provided after payment is received.

The page limit is 4 pages for contributed papers (5 if needed for proper referencing), 6 pages for invited papers (7 if needed for proper referencing) and 12 pages for plenary papers.  The additional page fee is $110 per page.

Additional page/paper fees must be paid for by Tuesday, October 9, in order to meet the manuscript submission deadline.  If you wish to make payment in advance for an additional manuscript submission or additional pages, please download the payment form here, complete and return to Centennial Conferences (contact information provided on the form) no later than September 24, 2012. Payment forms will no longer be accepted by the Centennial Conferences Office as of September 25, 2012.  All additional paper and page payments must be made onsite, in the Publication Office at the Oregon Convention Center.
